Many of the places that are free do encourage donations.  Several of
the Conservation Areas allow camping with your horse with special
use permit. You just have to call the different places to see which
ones do.

There are a few Conservation Areas that have a large number of miles
of road riding available to us and they also allow camping with
special use permit, like Peck Ranch.  They are great places to ride
in the early spring during the rainy season or during yellow jacket
season.
